Sorry for not updating too much!

One bit of exciting news:  I found out that the school offers a group trip to EGYPT over spring break!  It’s a nice deal where they provide a place to stay, breakfast, group tours, and plane fare for 200 something.  It’s the second half of spring break which is PERFECT because I’ll be in Germany for the first half.

It’s been sort of boring around here with all the snow.  I almost wish school hadn’t been cancelled yesterday just ‘cos I want to finally start.  I spent my day off pretty well though.  I walked around Kingston, shopped, went to the post office (what a disaster!  It was so busy and I had no idea what I was doing.  Some woman laughed at me for licking a ‘Par Avion’ sticker before I realized it was a peel sticker), read The Alchemist over coffee, and then met up with friends for dinner and drinks.

I have a class at 3:00 today.  It’s not one that I’ve signed up for, but it’s the  British Life & Culture class that’s offered to study abroad students.  It’s 80 pounds and you take a bunch of trips throughout the semester and then just study British history.  I think it’d be interesting, but my schedule is already full.  I figure I’ll check it out and if it seems doable, I may add it to my schedule.  I need to run to the school bookstore now before I forget!

I still miss home quite a bit.  I had a dream the other night that I came home and I kept saying I must be dreaming ‘cos I couldn’t be home already.  People kept convincing me that I wasn’t dreaming.  I was like, “I know they said time goes by quickly, but I didn’t think it went that quickly!  How did I miss everything?” and then I said how they also said I’d be sad and wouldn’t want to go home, but that wasn’t the case ‘cos I was really happy and wanted to be there.  And then I woke up and wasn’t really there.  But it’s great here, so I can’t really complain.
